THE BASICS
Why Postpartum Bodies Often Need
More Than Time
Birth changes the pelvic floor — vaginally or by C-section. Muscles can stay tight and guarded, scar tissue can form, and leaking, pain, or heaviness can show up even after you've "healed." A pelvic wand helps you apply targeted, PT-style pressure to that tissue between appointments.
Why vibration matters after birth
Vibration helps calm oversensitive, guarded tissue faster than pressure alone — useful for perineal or C-section scar tissue and muscles that tense up in anticipation of pain.
Built for hard-to-reach muscles
The dual-ended, patented shape with 10 vibration settings reaches both deep and superficial pelvic floor muscles, so you can start gentle and adjust as tissue heals.

What to Expect When You Massage Your Pelvic Floor Postpartum
Postpartum recovery isn't linear, and this isn't a quick fix — it's a tool you use consistently, alongside your provider's guidance, as your body rebuilds.
Confirm you're cleared first
Wait for your provider's go-ahead for vaginal insertion, and mention any tearing, episiotomy, or C-section so they can advise on timing specific to your healing.
Get into a supported position
Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat, or on your side with a pillow between your knees — whichever keeps pressure off a healing incision or perineal area most comfortable.
Breathe before you begin
Inhale and let your belly expand; exhale slowly and let it fall. This helps the pelvic floor relax before you insert the wand.
Lubricate generously and start low on vibration
Apply lubricant to the wand and your body. Start with a low or no-vibration setting if tissue is still sensitive, and increase only as comfort allows.
Sweep gently to find tenderness or scar tissue
Insert on an exhale and slowly sweep the tip. You may notice tightness, tenderness, or restriction around scar tissue — that's common, not a sign something's wrong.
Expect gradual, non-linear progress
Fatigue, hormones, and breastfeeding can all affect how your pelvic floor feels day to day. A "good sore" afterward is normal; sharp pain or symptoms that worsen mean it's time to check in with your provider.
Good to know before you start
If you had a 3rd or 4th-degree tear, work with your pelvic PT on timing and technique before starting.
Most people use the wand a few times a week, adjusting frequency as their provider recommends during active recovery.
Breastfeeding doesn't prevent use — but if you have questions specific to your recovery, ask your provider.
This bundle supports a postpartum pelvic floor PT program — it isn't a substitute for one, and it won't return your body to a "pre-birth baseline" overnight. Consistency over weeks matters more than intensity.

Frequently Asked Questions
We’re always happy to answer your queries
How soon after birth can I start using this?
Only after your OB or midwife clears you for vaginal insertion — usually at your postpartum checkup, and potentially later if you had a tear, episiotomy, or Csection. When in doubt, ask your provider before your first session.
Will this fix my prolapse, diastasis recti, or incontinence?
The pelvic wand is a tool to support pelvic floor muscle release and tension relief — it is not a treatment or cure for any condition. Many women find it helpful as part of a broader pelvic health routine, but it is not a substitute for a diagnosis or a personalised treatment plan from a pelvic floor physiotherapist. If you have been diagnosed with prolapse, diastasis recti, or incontinence, we recommend working with a qualified provider alongside any self-care tools.
I had a difficult tear or C-section — is this safe for me?
If you had a significant tear, episiotomy, C-section, pain, or complications, wait until your provider clears you for vaginal insertion before using the wand. If you’re unsure, check with your OB, midwife, or pelvic floor physical therapist. When the time is right, a pelvic floor PT can guide you on how to use it safely for your specific recovery.
Do I need the balm and lubricant, or just the wand?
The wand is the foundation of your routine. The lubricant reduces friction during use, and the balm supports the sensitivity of the surrounding tissue. They are both designed to make the experience more comfortable and effective, and they can make a meaningful difference. Everything included works together for a more comfortable session.
